The Arts Park Village adjacent to Young Circle is a mixed-use commercial and residential project along a unique circular traffic pattern along a heavily traversed vehicular pathway. The project, following the arch of Young Circle’s vehicular movements, is comprised of a 25- story residential building with 435 units, 35,500sf of retail space, a 5-story charter school, parking garage and 8-story office building. Due to the high pedestrian and vehicular traffic facing on the Young Circle thoroughfare a residential liner wraps around the parking structure creating an aesthetically pleasing and saleable space. In order to enhance the pedestrian experience, a covered walkway is employed along the existing traffic pattern. Thereby adding another element to the redevelopment of a disenfranchised area.
