Los Sueños is one of Miami’s most visible affordable housing family communities located adjacent to I-95 and the 195 expressway to Miami Beach. KKAID designed the 179 unit building to be a focal point and serve as an artistic backdrop for the surrounding area. The building’s location and artwork is symbolic of the bond between art and architecture and serves as a landmark gateway to Miami’s fashion and Design District. This project raised the bar and expectations for the region’s affordable housing and includes the following amenities: 1,2, and 3 bedroom floor plans, community center, parking garage, swimming pool, fitness center, playground/tot lot and a BBQ/picnic area.
