City Landings is a family/elderly affordable housing project located in Miami, Florida directly adjacent to I-95 and NW 81st Street. It is made up of 2 residential towers with a parking structure, retail and residential amenities at the ground level. 336 residential units are proposed on the site. Although this number is above the allowed density requirements of the county, KKAID worked closely with the county to arrive at the decision that affordable housing is urgently needed in this community. The design of the project relates to its urban surroundings and the façade plays off of the motion of I-95 with streamlined balconies and color combinations.
